A Year

Porcelain, hospital cart, blue light.

“A year” is a poetic symbol for excessive drug use in developed countries. It exposes strategies utilized in society to power and to dominate, conforming individuals into large target audiences.  The piece, instead of pointing the finger in judgment, evokes viewers to question their stance in an addictive society. 365 generic porcelain pill bottles were displayed on a metal hospital-cart each symbolizing a day of one year.
