Since the emergence of established settlements, figures of authority have been ruling our way of living. In this piece, chair: a symbol of power, and hallway: a distinctive concept of institutions, sanction the conservative limitations of societies.

The chair at the end of the hallway is neither wider nor thicker than 3”, flush to the end of the hallway, it appears to be almost non-existent. Bright theatrical lights cast the silhouette of this distorted chair onto the inner wall of the hallway inviting any viewer to sit and become the authority.
